    I am a cop. I have tried a lot of holsters and these guys make the best holsters I have had. The magazines are great too. Funny how people who do the job make the best gear for the job. Keep up the great work!

    Glock 19 (Gen 5) TLR7 APIWB Holster

    First, quality is excellent! Great attention to detail. This is my third holster from Advanced Retention; great value and quality. There are a lot of color options and great choices for mounting (I much prefer the DCC metal clips, and both mono-block and regular are offered). The ordering process is simple and the delivery time more than acceptable.

    This is really a five-star review, but the only issue, which isn’t really on Advanced Retention, was fitment. I have the new Streamlight TLR-7X, which must be slightly different in size than the older TLR-7A model lights. I can’t find where it is, but the handgun just doesn’t have that little “snap in” retention at the very end of holstering it. You can still tighten the holster down and retention is still more than acceptable, just not as good if I put a TLR-7A on it. Recommend updating the mold with the newer TLR-7X and adding that to the selection or if it will work with both old and new TLR-7 models.

    I’ve owned a lot of holsters over the last few years. This holster from ARS is absolutely one of my favorites. It’s very secure, stable, and very very comfortable. It’s secures my 19x that is equipped with a Nightstick 550xl like it was made for it even though the mold is for a TLR7. The craftsmanship is 2nd to none.
